Tips

Stop hiding content in sliders!

How to use them effectively

1. Limit the number of slides to 3 🚫

Less is more with sliders. Research shows that engagement beyond the 1st slide drops dramatically, from around 80% on the 1st slide to ~15% for the 2nd and 3rd. Beyond that it is almost non-existant. For best results...

2. Use a narative to link multiple slides 📖

If each slide is a completely separate message, you're asking people to pull the lever and gamble on the next slides relevance. If you weave a narative between slide 1 and 2 then they know what to expect from slide 3 and beyond.

3. Use clear and concise messaging 💬

Each slide should have a clear message, utilising relevant copy and imagery as well as a descriptive call-to-action (if relevant)
